A level playing field is what is needed. I would like also to thank the NZ producers for there work in getting product accepted. I agree 100% with Antler333 on his points, However there is going to be one thing I am going to be very sticky on and that is the matter of testing for cwd, at this point most if not all NA producers are testing every head that is destined for human consumption. We also are enrolled in surviellence programs both of which cost time and money. As with any TSE you will not know if you have it until you test a significant # of slaughters. NZ can not claim it does not have it as long as they don't test and have a real third party audited survielence program. IF this is happening then I applaud them and stand corrected. I am not talking however about a token # of heads I am talking about EVERY animal destined for human consumption plus all unexplained deaths. Even is Even.
